finally my entry for contest. it's been a while since i have posted anything, and i'm actually really proud on how it came out, so whatever if i don't win anything, i'm happy with the result.

Well i actually already knew about everything about what happened to Mikey, so he has been a hero for me since the beginning. and i don't only see gerard if you are a reader of my stories, then you would know that he's one or is the main character.

well the drawing of mikey on the left, it's suppose to look like he is fading, that's when he was all depressed. he's supposed to have like a vacant stare. if you realize his eyes have no shine in them. well the fading also means it's in the past.

now the one at the bottom, i actually really loved how it came out. what he has in his hand is a bandage that he's kinda pulling off, like he is finally healing from his problems. it's suppose to look all dirty and bloody if you can see that. and it's wrapping around his wrist. and it's suppose to look like he has his hand on his heart too, btw. also he's suppose to like he has some what of a smile.

and of course i have to draw him playing his bass, cuz that's one of the things he does best. and i'm actually so happy the way it came out, cuz it was so damn hard to draw, especially the bass and the shading. so yeah...

also that quote is from a movie i saw and i really loved how it sounded, cuz it really has a lot of meaning to it. i was trying to figure out what to put it with and after i started drawing this i thought of that, and i thought it fit perfectly. it basically covers the whole bandage thing and the fact he has the black parade uniform.

so hopefully with that i explained it all.
